Le Stream Reconductible stream marathon raises over €150,000 for union strike funds

During a nation-wide strike movement in France against a planned pensions reforms, a group of around 100 people, including more than 50 streamers, organised a 6 week streaming marathon on Twitch. During their 470 hours of streaming, they raised over €150,000 for an inter-union strike fund by playing games with social themes, hosting keynotes on the video game industry, talking about political news, and so on. It was the first time Twitch was used to raise funds directly for workers' actions. The stream is archived here.
