Two teams, Ex Oblivione and 01_Esports, went on strike during the lower final match of the Overwatch Contenders 2022 Summer Series: A-Sides tournament. 01_Esports had been negatively affected by an administrative call in the previous match, with confusion over the format and number of match wins. Ex Oblivione put out a statement following the refusal to compete.
