All of the unionised QA workers at Keywords Studios were laid off, following BioWare ending the contract. The 16 workers voted in June 2022 to unionise with UFCW Canada, the first in the country. The union filed an employment standards complaint against the studio, citing that severance had not been paid out to the workers.
