Paizo voluntarily recognised the United Paizo Workers union to represent workers at the role-playing game company. They have been supported by the CODE-CWA in negotiations and there are at least 39 workers involved so far. Workers at Paizo started organising publicly on the 14th of October with the intention of being recognised for collective bargaining. Paizo's decision to voluntarily recognise the union is an unusual step in the games industry.
