A majority of the 60 QA workers at the Blizzard Albany, New York and Austin, Texas locations voted to ratify a union contract with Microsoft. Represented by CWA locals 1118 and 6215, this is the third union contract after ZeniMax and Raven Software. This contract is the result of bargaining since May 2023, and the three-year contract includes wage increases, regulations around the use of AI, fair crediting on games, disability accommodations, protections for immigrant workers, and restrictions on mandatory "crunch."
